Description
AMH
Now accepting orders! Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is a protein produced by reproductive tissues. Its role and the amount present varies based on sex and age.
Women of childbearing age may have AMH tested along with hormones E2 and FSH to estimate their ovarian reserve (or the time remaining to conceive). AMH may be useful in evaluating ovarian function and possibly in predicting the onset of menopause. Further clinical applications for AMH may include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), ovarian cancers and others found in research.
