Insulin-Transferrin-Selenium (ITS) is a chemically-defined supplement for a variety of cell culture applications. Most commonly, Insulin-Transferrin-Selenium (ITS) Solution is used as a supplement for basal cell culture media.
Our ITS supplement contains components that are required for the optimal performance of serum-free media. Supplementation of ITS to different conventional nutrient media substantially reduces the FBS requirement for routine maintenance of many cell lines.
Insulin-Transferrin-Selenium (ITS) is provided as a 100x concentrate.
