Description

2× Hieff™ Ultra-Rapid II HotStart PCR Master Mix contains heat-stabilized Taq DNA Polymerase modified with antibodies, a strong elongation factor and an optimized buffer system for high-efficiency PCR amplification.

The ready-to-use master mix is designed for rapid amplification of a wide range of DNA templates and is particularly suitable for applications such as colony PCR, genotype identification and amplification of complex templates. It can be used with templates from organisms including E. coli, Agrobacterium and yeast.

The formulation contains dNTPs, Mg²⁺ and optimized reaction components, requiring the addition of primers and template for PCR setup. The mix also contains a red tracer dye, allowing PCR products to be loaded directly for electrophoresis after the reaction.

A protective agent helps maintain stable activity after repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The resulting PCR products contain 3′-terminal A overhangs, making them suitable for applications involving T-vector cloning.
