Description

HFS-2021 is a set of six 1.0 µm air filters designed for compatible gas flow meters and Hot Box System applications. Each filter uses a hydrophobic PTFE membrane and polypropylene housing to support gas filtration and drying applications associated with Modular Incubator Chamber systems.

The filters feature tapered hose-barb connections compatible with tubing having a 1/4" to 3/8" inner diameter and are designed for use with compatible gas-flow equipment.

HFS-2021 filters can be used as replacement filters for compatible gas-flow equipment. The filter set is supplied as six filters per pack.

Filter Construction

Hydrophobic PTFE Membrane

Each HFS-2021 filter contains a hydrophobic PTFE membrane with a 1.0 µm pore size. The membrane is designed for gas filtration applications while helping limit unwanted liquid passage under appropriate operating conditions.

Polypropylene Housing

The filter housing is made from polypropylene and incorporates tapered hose-barb connections for compatible gas tubing.

Tubing Compatibility

The HFS-2021 filter uses tapered hose-barb connections designed to accept tubing with an inner diameter between 1/4" and 3/8".

Compatible tubing: TUB-516 clear tubing
